As the Dallas-Fort Worth area prepares to host a series of international soccer matches, Plano is set to kick off the festivities with ‘Japan Day: Ultras Meets Plano.’ This event aims to bring together soccer enthusiasts, music lovers, and cultural communities for an evening that celebrates the global spirit of the game.
Event Highlights
Attendees can look forward to live music performances, including sets by Japanese musicians and DJs, as well as a variety of food and drinks. A unique cultural exchange is planned between Japan’s national team supporters, Ultras Nippon, and FC Dallas supporters, the Dallas Beer Guardians. Additionally, a live talk session featuring notable soccer figures is scheduled, with speaker announcements forthcoming.
Community Impact
Plano Mayor John Muns emphasized the broader significance of the event, stating, “This event is about more than soccer.
